Plant-based Adventures: Phoenix & Sedona, Arizona
The views in Arizona were absolutely breathtaking and definitely made our meals more memorable! We landed in Phoenix before making a scenic drive to Sedona. We spent a few days enjoying the views and hiking the area before returning to Phoenix.
Plant-based Adventures: Guam
After living in the DMV for nearly a decade, I am excited to return each time There are always options between veggie-friendly menus and vegan restaurants. Even better, new restaurants pop all the time.

Plant-based Adventures: Kentucky
A week in Tampa and Sarasota was just enough time to squeeze in a few restaurants after long work days. There was plenty of variety, and I appreciated that so many places had more than 1 vegan option on their menus. It made it easy to go out with others and enjoy some delicious food.

Plant-based Adventures: Savannah, GA
The Spanish moss hanging from the trees makes Savannah, Georgia one of the most idyllic cities. The last time we visited we only had a couple hours to explore the city and enjoy some food. So I was excited to return for a fall wedding and try a few more restaurants.
Plant-based Adventures: Orlando
A work trip to Florida in January … of course I was happy about that assignment. It was the perfect week with unseasonably warm weather for Orlando in the 80s. I spent most of my time inside working and not getting to enjoy the beautiful weather, but I found time to visit a few restaurants in the city. Staying near the airport meant at least a 20 to 30-minute drive to almost every vegan restaurant. That meant I had to squeeze in as many dishes as possible at each restaurant
Plant-based Adventures: Anchorage, Alaska
When I got the news that I was headed to Anchorage, AK for work, I immediately searched for restaurants. I quickly discovered that my options would be limited, so it was a must that I stayed at a hotel with kitchen. I mostly cooked during my 3-month stay, but I did find some plant-based meals after all.
Plant-based Adventures: New York City
My list of restaurants to visit was ridiculous – 20 places in 3 days!! I knew I could never make it to all of them, but I had so much fun trying. I found everything I wanted and things I didn’t know I needed on this quick getaway.
Plant-based Adventures: Seattle
The West Coast is a haven for vegans because there are a plethora of vegan options everywhere. I was so excited for my first trip to the Pacific Northwest since Seattle and Portland are filled with restaurants catering to vegan diets.
Plant-based Adventures: South Florida
I grew up in the Florida Panhandle, and I never ventured much farther than Orlando for school trips and Disney World. So South Florida was new territory for me.
